Sure, you have looked a dozen times and the same old tired survey sites and data entry possibilities keep turning up. You aren't sure whether this is for you or indeed even if it is feasible. You suspect the earnings would be minimally small with these possibilities yet you investigate further.

You suspect the earnings would be minimally small with these possibilities, yet you investigate further.
I know what you are looking for. You are looking for a replacement wage right? A business where you can work from home and still earn at least as much as you do now. More would be great, but essentially if you could replace the current wage or a little less that would be acceptable.
5 years ago I quit my job as a salesman for a major insurance corporation. My wife and I had some savings and she agreed to let me do full time what I was doing on the side while I was still working. She, to this day is glad we made that decision. This is fairly unusual and not really a job. Not in the traditional sense. Your income does not come in the form of an hourly or even weekly pay check, also you are a free agent. You don't work for anybody and you create the earnings that you make all by yourself.
Today my wife and I are very comfortable and my ongoing investments create an easy and comfortable cash flow. The barrier most people face, who wish to work from home is that they refuse to allow themselves to be self directed. Typically, most people try selling multi-level-marketing products, or try this and try that, but ultimately never do quit their day job because nothing really shows any stability, enough to take the step and quit the job.
To stay in the job is a reasonable course of action really but the attitude is not reasonable. It all comes down to money. It nearly always does. You want to work from home so you can be a free agent, but inevitably we look to others for guidance and direction. Somebody will eventually try to sell us this product or that marketing scheme or whatever, but that is only because we fail to take responsibility for our own direction.
But of most relevance is the inevitable wish for a nice neat steady pay check. It is almost like an addiction to security. Sometimes you have to push the boat away from the shore before you can begin to travel. An unreliable pay check is one thing, a LARGE but unreliable pay check is a totally different thing. If the paycheck is big enough, it can be as unreliable as it likes! We can put aside what we need until the next one comes along.
The difficult transition from working person to self employed person is arduous. Ideally you would make a reasonable return part time while still having the income of a day job so you can test drive the opportunity before you take the plunge into a full time operation.
I believe we all understand that wealth will come from extra curicular activities. By that I mean, a day job will never lead to wealth. A full time job is secure but you are limited by your own security. The hourly rate you are tied to makes it impossible to make more. There are only so many hours in a week and you can only work a part of these hours and only for so long before exhaustion. You are exempt from accessing the leverage of capital and labour because you are part of the machine, you are somebody elses leverage and that can never lead to wealth.
It is a definite reality that we must do something. Working is good but eventually you must work towards a more acceptable vehicle for achieving an income and therefore, some sort of home business opportunity could be the answer. What is most advantageous to this objective is a plan.
If you look at some of the opportunities out there, they all have one thing in common. That is a pre-arranged game plan that you must follow. Of course, the originator of the plan will generally make sure that a good proportion of your efforts wind up in his/her coffers. Ala, mlm marketing or some other scheme. Fortunately, if you realize this, you may avoid such traps and actually take the initiative to develop your own game plan where all the results derived from your own work come to you and you alone.
The one thing this game plan must have, the one ingredient that it must contain is leverage. Whether it is money leverage or time leverage or some other form of leverage, you will find this one ingredient is the touch stone of a good home business opportunity. It is this one ingredient you lack right now as a worker in a day job. It is the skeleton of success, base any ideas you come up with in leverage and you cannot fail.
