There are various technique used by the online marketing experts to boost their list opt-in rate. Unfortunately, many marketers forget to use them effectively. Today, I would like to present 3 techniques you can use to boost your opt-in subscription rate.
First and foremost technique people love to forget is they don’t offer something interesting for subscribing to their newsletter or ezines. Many marketers believe that by giving away something they ‘think’ as valuable cost them too much. I don’t really see the point as I have built a list of thousand’s of people using this simple (and deadly) technique. This is important: don’t be a selfish marketer or people will leave your sites without leaving anything behind.
The second technique you can use to popup window. We’re not talking about those blatant popup windows you have seen while surfing some of your favourite sites but a targeted popup which serve as a notice and time-limited offer from your website. You can use this popup to serve a “time-limited” offer (such as report, e-book, etc.) to your visitor and this will add the value of your site and build trust with your visitor.
The last yet a very powerful way to build your list are through writing articles to the masses! You can write some articles that are related to your niche and send them to article directory such as ezinearticles.com. Please be aware that you need to use your resource box effectively by linking your articles to your subscription page to get the maximum result. This technique will also be able to promote your page in search engine by the use of effective anchor tag (anchor tag is a hyperlinked text, used by search engine to determine the relevance of the websites).
