That means 90 out of every 100 people you send your post cards to are going to at least look at your piece. However, what is not widely talked about when it comes to postcards are what's called "postcard packs."

Postcard packs are a wonderful way for you to really keep cost down, reach a targeted market, and say the right things to the right people.

And here's a trick I got about using postcard packs when interviewing marketing legend Jay Conrad Levinson:

If you want to get double the response rate from your postcard pack, tell the publisher you’d like your postcard to be put on top of the pack.

Why?

Simply because nobody else asks for that, and you’re going to get a much higher response rate with yours on top (since everyone will have a chance to see it).

And then, just to add more power to your postcards...keep asking the postcard pack people to do this for you every time you use their service.

Just tell them the response rate was so good and you'd like to keep doing it.

Usually, nobody will have a problem with it and your response rates will soar.
