It does not matter how successful, cheerful, optimistic, spiritual etc. you are, there are always going to be moments in which you will feel down or angry. Why? Simply because all emotions whether positive or negative are part of us therefore, it is only natural that we feel them once in a while. Let’s face it, life it’s never going to be perfect and situations will arise were you will feel like everything is falling down on you.

First, understand that there is nothing wrong with feeling blue once in a while. So, if you have time for it and are not affecting others around you then feel free to stay down for a day or maybe two. In the other hand, if you would just like to get your mind out of the negative state below I have added several practices that can help you clear your head and proceed feeling like new again.

• Cry- Crying is a natural way to release toxins and extremely therapeutic. So, if you are feeling real sad, tired angry etc. give it a good cry. See how your mood will change immediately.

• Write down your emotions- Writing is another measure of communicating which means that it is a great way to get some feelings or frustrations off your chest. So next time you find yourself on the dark side go ahead, and write your thoughts away.

• Go for a walk- Feel the wind or the sunrays on your skin. Walking is also a method of exercise, which release endorphins from your brain. This leaves you feeling more relaxed than ever.

• Laughing therapy- Call or visit a friend that is funny. You can also see a comedy. This will sure lift your spirits instantly!

• Listen to music: Stay away from sad songs since; the initial goal is to lift your morale. Feel free to dance if you find the rhythm invigorating.
