Paraffin Wax Candles or NV-Soy Wax Candles
First off let's determine the differences between paraffin wax and NV Soy wax.
Most people don't realize what paraffin wax candles are made of. Also people
don't really understand the magnitude of the candle industry. The candle
industry is a 6 billion dollar industry.
This industry is 97% paraffin wax. What is paraffin wax?
Paraffin wax is a petroleum based by-product. It is made from the left over's
of processed oil. That's the gunk at the bottom of the oil barrel. That can't
be refined into fuel. Paraffin wax supports the oil industry. Like they aren'
t getting enough of our money.
Burning paraffin wax candles, emits harmful vapors, black soot, and is
difficult to remove from clothing. Burning paraffin wax may also cause
carcinogens in the air you breathe. Just think about it, when you burn a
paraffin wax candle you are burning oil. Which in turn is getting into your
lungs and your children's lungs?
Not a good thought, is it? Something else that all of you should know is. Paraffin wax must be blended with chemicals in order to be able to release
fragrances. All of us for years have been breathing these harmful vapors and
didn't even realize it.
Now let's explore NV Soy wax candles.
NV-Soy stands for, Natural Vegetable Soy Wax. NV-Soy wax supports the
American farmer. NV-Soy wax or Natural Vegetable Soy Wax is derived from
vegetables. They are 100% non-toxic and all natural. NV-Soy wax burns cleaner

longer. The wax also burns at a much lower temperature than paraffin wax.

get burned from the wax. You can not do that with paraffin wax candles. NV-

supports our economy. Instead of us supporting the oil companies.
