Spa dentistry is a growing trend where cooling eye masks act as a buffer between your eyes and the dentist’s glaring spotlight. The goal is to make patients feel like they are not only anywhere but the dental office, but relaxing in an environment they want to experience.

At spa dentistry practices patients are considered guests and the goal is that—by the time you leave—you’ve become a friend. Upon your entrance to the peaceful atmosphere, guests are greeted by name, and often welcomed with a warm hug.

The growing trend
The dental spa movement is an outgrowth of the cosmetic dentistry trend. The same types of patients who opt for elective procedures like porcelain veneers and teeth whitening procedures are willing to pay for other services that benefit the body, mind and soul.
