UN Debate on Israel Response to Lebanese Army Border Attack
Author: Lance Winslow
The United Nations and EU are making statements such as Israel is over reacting in its response to the Lebanese Border Attack. Yet how many nations would put up with an attack on their Borders? As we look at the response we see a major highway lay in ruin and three airports including Beirut International Airport.

Of course any war is of concern to the rest of the World and this is why the President of the United States has stated that; Israel has the right to defend herself. While the EU is issuing a negative response and stating that Israel is over reacting.
Yet if we look at Israel and their pre-warning of the civilian population indeed they are doing the correct thing. Shutting down the airport, shipping lanes, and highway to Beirut. They are on TV warning the Lebanese People that they will be hitting targets in that country.
Lebanon of course made a completely unbelievable error in attacking the border. Iran will be drawn into this. Intel said that they were going to use the highway to take off aircraft, so Israel went back to take out the fuel depots too. They have no choice. The escalation on the attack of Israels port city left them no choice but to go to a second level on this.
There will be a third and forth I fear. But this is what happens, when radicals hijack population bases; too bad really. From a military strategy scenario, they are executing this war very good. Many military strategists are impressed and agree with all their targets completely. Consider all this in 2006.
