Whenever anyone endeavors to develop the powers of the mind, one of the first abilities to work on is visualization. Visualization is an important tool of manifestation and attaining your goals.

You must be able to see clearly what you want to achieve and be able to ‘act’ as if the goal or what you desire has already been achieved. In this way, the mind becomes reprogrammed with a new blueprint specific to you and what you want to achieve.

Generally, people who have grown up in an artistic environment or other kind of creative environment are able to visualize almost without thinking about it, because they can see things in a different perspective. Athletic coaches have begun to teach visualization techniques to their athletes to increase performance. With sports or focusing in on career goals, when using visualization it is important to visualize it as real as you can. If you are a swimmer in competition, you should visualize how the water will feel on your body, your body form, the spectators who sometimes can disrupt a persons focus by the noise of cheering or chanting your name if you are lucky enough to be favored to win.

Visualizing your goal in a career should be done the same way. Be realistic. If you know the types of people you will be working with or actually know who they are, visualize how you will interact with them, how you will solve problems or handle something you know little about.

Visualizing with the intent of achieving a certain outcome requires practice. Visualizing what you desire take patience so practice as often as you can on a daily basis. When we give our minds new ideas we need to reinforce those ideas on a constant level in order to rid the mind of old ideas still running rampant though the mind.

You also need to set some time to be creative in your visualization. This means finding the time to read may mean you need to be off by yourself in your bedroom, den or other place where you can be alone for 30 minutes or so. If you want to manifest, you need to make some space for you to prepare to do that.

Once the visualization is clear and reality laden, you should begin acting as if what you desire has already happened. Start exploring questions of how you will feel once you have reached your goal or how you will respond.  Basically, these are some of the reactions you will have once the goal has been achieved, so it is a good idea to prepare for it by exploring these issues prior to achieving your desire.
