As a home based marketing consultant -- besides the opportunity to make a lot of money very quickly without spending years trying to learn the craft, you have something most other home business owners don't.
As a home based marketing consultant -- besides the opportunity to make a lot of money very quickly without spending years trying to learn the craft, you have something most other home business owners don't.
And that is the freedom to work with clients as long as you want or as little as you want.
For example, in my career I have had a few clients -- and I have one now that I have been with for three years -- generating me residual income because we keep working their business in new and different ways. Each time bringing in more money and more customers and more profits. And I just keep tweaking their marketing a little bit, and I don’t spend a whole lot of time with them.
I know that there are other consultants that like to go in and stay with a client for many years, and that’s certainly something you can do if you want. It’s your call. It’s all in how you want to set up your consulting career.
Personally, I enjoy having impact and moving on to another opportunity because it keeps me fresh. It keeps me excited. It keeps me going.
I’ve had a couple of instances where I’ve been with a client a couple of years, and three years with one and sometimes it gets old. It gets kind of stale and you’re ready to move on. But, maybe you might want to stay with one for a long time.
So, when you start a home business as a marketing consultant, you can set things up however you want. It's your choice, your call. And that's what keeps it not only endlessly profitable...but endlessly fun and exciting, too.
